Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Engineer 3 to serve as a technical SME focused on value engineering, QA/QC, and independent judgment across utility-scale EPC projects. The role can be fully remote or located in our Edison, NJ office.

The engineer will coordinate multi-discipline design deliverables, review RFPs, support permitting and scheduling, and provide QA/QC oversight on consultant work products while interfacing with Owners, Owner's Engineer, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of progressive engineering experience in EPC, renewable energy, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Solar focus preferred).
• Engineer-in-Training (FE).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multi-discipline engineering deliverables with internal and external stakeholders.
• Review RFP documents and provide input to estimating team; represent SOLV during pursuit and early-phase meetings.
• Provide QA/QC oversight of consultant work products and the integrated design.
• Track and manage engineering and permitting deliverable schedules with project management.
• Assist in reviewing comments and coordinating with Owners, Owner's Engineer, and consultants.
