Job summary

Commerce is seeking a Principal Business Systems Architect to own the end-to-end architecture of CRM, billing, and related integrations. You will drive the target-state across our systems, modernize legacy platforms, and guide migrations and governance with a focus on scalability, security, and cost efficiency.

You will work with executive stakeholders to translate business needs into technical roadmaps and ensure alignment across GTM, Finance, and Marketing.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise architecture or senior technical IC leadership.
• Experience with GTM/revenue systems (Salesforce or HubSpot), CPQ, and order-to-revenue flows.
• Proven experience guiding legacy modernization or decommissioning at scale.
• Strong written communication and ability to document complex tradeoffs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end systems architecture across CRM, billing, Marketing Ops, Revenue, and integration layers.
• Define target-state architecture and a sequenced, fundable roadmap.
• Lead legacy modernization including SFDC decommissioning and Zuora integration migration.
• Perform technical due diligence on major platform decisions: build, buy, retire, or replatform.
• Translate stakeholder pain points into prioritized technical requirements with clarity.
