Job summary

Commerce is a remote-first company building a comprehensive, AI-enabled commerce ecosystem. This senior technical IC leads the architectural authority for CRM, billing, and integration systems, partnering with Go-To-Mate initiatives and Finance/Marketing stakeholders.

You will drive the target-state architecture, decommission legacy components, and deliver a sequenced, fundable roadmap that aligns with security, scalability, and cost considerations. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise architecture or senior technical IC leadership across CRM and billing domains.
• Experience leading legacy modernization and decommissioning at scale.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into architectural roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end systems architecture across CRM, billing, Marketing Ops, Revenue, and integration layers.
• Define the target-state architecture and a sequenced roadmap for delivery by teams.
• Lead legacy modernization projects and platform migrations with risk management and succession planning.
• Act as final technical authority on cross-system design decisions with clear tradeoffs.
