Job summary

Commerce is seeking a senior-level technical IC to own architecture across CRM, billing, and integration layers. You’ll set target-state, decommission legacy systems, and guide cross-functional teams including Go to Market, Finance, and Marketing.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, or senior IC leadership roles with CRM/billing focus.
• Experience with GTM/revenue systems (Salesforce/HubSpot), CPQ, quote-to-cash and order-to-revenue flows.
• Proven track record modernizing or decommissioning legacy systems at scale, managing risk and migration sequencing.
• Demonstrated experience as final technical authority with ability to listen and pivot when presented with better information.
• Strong written communication; able to document complex tradeoffs clearly and concisely.
• Comfortable in a standardized review process with VP of Technology sign-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture across CRM, billing, Marketing Ops, Revenue, and integration layers.
• Define the target-state architecture that guides cross-team delivery.
• Drive legacy modernization initiatives including decommissioning and migration of integrations.
• Perform technical due diligence on platform decisions (build, buy, retire, replatform).
• Translate stakeholder pain into prioritized technical requirements and roadmaps.
• Maintain target-state architecture and create a fundable roadmap.
• Be the final architectural authority on cross-system design decisions with risk and tradeoff transparency.
• Create solution designs and hand off specs to developers and admins; support questions during build.
• Lead legacy decommissioning and modernization with a bias toward follow-through.
• Keep architecture diagrams and integration maps current.
