Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking an Software Engineering Manager who will grow their team and contribute technically. You will engage with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver cloud-based solutions that support Nava’s mission and culture.

Qualificações

• At least 10 years in an agile multidisciplinary team environment, preferably cloud-based.
• 1+ year as a People Manager.
• Experience designing and implementing production-grade, cloud-native microservices and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and containerized deployment patterns.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably Postgres, using JDBC and ORM mappers like Hibernate.
• Experience with DevOps, preferably Jenkins CI/CD.
• Experience utilizing AWS cloud native services and data engineering.
• Tenacity to dive into problems and iterate on working code.
• Ability to think strategically around trade-offs and long-term benefits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to work with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engineering team, provide guidance and feedback, ensure fair compensation.
• Contribute technically as IC or tech lead; review architectures and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks and plan deliverables.
• Plan, estimate, prioritize, and balance technical debt with milestones.
• Develop and review technical specifications and roadmaps.
• Maintain production systems and handle on-call duties.
