Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on modernizing government tech with cloud-native architectures.

The role blends people management with hands-on technical delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams, users, and government partners to build secure, scalable solutions aligned with Nava’s mission. The position emphasizes growth, technical excellence, and proactive stakeholder engagement to drive strategic projects across public

Competenze

• At least 10 years in an agile, multidisciplinary team.
• Designing production-grade cloud-native microservices and REST APIs with Java/Spring Boot.
• Relational DBs (PostgreSQL) using JDBC/ORM (Hibernate).
• DevOps experience, preferably Jenkins CI/CD.
• Experience with AWS cloud-native services.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Mansioni

• Provide engineering management and technical leadership.
• Write code and perform code reviews.
• Review specs and mitigate technical risks.
• Guide planning, estimation, prioritization, trade-offs, and debt balancing.
• Review architectures and designs; design technical roadmaps.
• Support client growth through business development bids.
• Engage with government stakeholders to gain buy-in on technical initiatives.
• Attend conferences and network with potential clients.
