Job summary

WEX Mobility is seeking a Sr. Manager of Software Engineering to lead the Beyond Fuel and Expense Management initiative. You will guide engineering teams across the US and India to design, build, and scale payments and expense management capabilities for fleets.

Drive AI adoption to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery while ensuring security, reliability, and scalability. You will own the technical roadmap, collaborate with product, design, and commercial partners, and report

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS or Software Eng.
8+ years in software engineering with 4+ years of engineering management experience.
Experience building large-scale distributed systems.
Ability to automate scaffolding code, unit tests, and integration tests using AI.
Experience with AI-DLC APIs and AI-first approaches.
Strong security and compliance knowledge in cloud/data environments.
Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop long-term vision and strategy for the Beyond Fuel and Expense Management initiative at WEX.
Drive roadmap prioritization with product and commercial partners.
Own architecture across mobile and backend services.
Lead end-to-end AI-DLC projects from concept to deployment.
Develop architectural roadmap aligned with business goals.
Collaborate with Mobility engineering teams to reuse practices.
