Job summary
WEX, Inc. seeks a Sr. Manager of Software Engineering to lead the Beyond Fuel and Expense Management initiative within WEX Mobility Engineering.
You will guide distributed teams across the US and India, defining technical strategy, building scalable payment and expense systems, and driving AI adoption in the SDLC while ensuring security and reliability. You will partner with Product, Design, and business stakeholders to deliver spend controls, visibility, and AI-enabled automation, while shaping
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- 8+ years in software engineering with 4+ years in engineering management.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems and AI-enabled development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a long-term strategy for Beyond fuel and Expense management initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional teams and align roadmaps with product and commercial partners.
- Drive engineering roadmap, OKRs, and metrics-driven productivity.
- Mentor and grow high-performance software engineers and foster a culture of innovation.
