Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to oversee on-site configuration, testing, cutover, and post-cut support for on-premise and cloud-hosted ECH solutions. The role requires extensive travel in the US and internationally, with emphasis on cloud-native public safety technologies.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in deploying complex IP products, cloud certifications, and strong networking knowledge, including Cisco IOS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in deployment or integration of complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS/Microsoft Certified related to cloud environments.
• Experience with cloud-based application troubleshooting, including connectivity and identity management (SSO/AD).
• Experience with installation and administration of Windows Server 2008R2/2012R2 and Linux.
• Familiarity with Cisco IOS switches and basic firewall/Router concepts.
• US passport or eligibility for international travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS-based apps.
• Conducts site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides deployment support to customers and channel partners.
• Documents changes including cloud tenant configurations and API integrations.
