Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Senior Director of Technical Product Management to lead the DSCX portfolio, directing product strategy, roadmaps, and governance for 30+ digital products across Defense & Systems. You will manage a team of product managers and UX designers, translating business outcomes into prioritized backlogs and partnering with Engineering to deliver capabilities that drive measurable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10+ years of professional experience, or Associate's with 13+ years, or HS diploma with 15+ years.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Technical Product Management and IT.
• Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Responsibilities

• Strategy and Roadmap: Own the product roadmap standard across DSCX; manage 2–3 year roadmaps; define prioritization framework; plan features 1–2 quarters ahead in partnership with Engineering.
• Outcomes and Governance: Define KPIs/OKRs; run portfolio health reviews; ensure outcomes are measurable and tied to business value.
• Technical Product Leadership: Ensure PRDs and INVEST-quality stories; use opportunity solution trees; collaborate with Engineering on design and sequencing.
• Stakeholder and Relationship Management: Maintain stakeholder maps; run monthly business reviews per product line; manage funding and business cases.
• People and Team Leadership: Lead and develop product management and UX teams; establish product craft standards; build talent bench and coach using FLIGHT DECK.
