Job summary

SailPoint Technologies Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff DevOps Engineer to lead the design, build, and operation of our global Identity Security Cloud infrastructure on AWS.

This remote role partners with engineering teams across US, Canada, EMEA, and APAC to deliver a scalable, secure platform and serve as the Kubernetes platform leader for the Infrastructure Platform team. You will own service mesh rollout at scale, establish governance, mentor engineers, drive CI/CD and GitOps

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in 24x7 production operations for SaaS/cloud services.
• 5+ years designing and operating service mesh at scale in production Kubernetes environments.
• Strong Kubernetes and AWS cloud knowledge with security and reliability focus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end service mesh rollout at scale across hundreds of microservices.
• Define governance, runbooks, and policies for production incidents.
• Lead Kubernetes cluster design, upgrades, and multi-tenant patterns.
• Drive CI/CD and GitOps automation for Terraform, Kubernetes, and microservices.
• Support PCI DSS compliance through secure platform design and audits.
