Job summary

Ping Identity is seeking a remote Senior Staff Site Reliability Engineer to join our cloud-based production infrastructure. This full-time role focuses on designing, building, and operating scalable services with emphasis on reliability, performance, and automation.

Ideal candidates have extensive Kubernetes, Go, and cloud experience (AWS/GCP), along with Docker, CI/CD, and strong collaboration across cross-functional teams to drive observability and cost-efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in scalable, distributed systems architecture.
• Experience with Cloud Platform – AWS and GCP.
• Production-grade programming in Go.
• Experience with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.
• Experience defining and implementing automated service deployments, including provisions for networking, security, reliability, management, reporting, and configuration management.
• Experience using Git in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver solutions collaboratively and independently; review and provide feedback on others' work.
• Shape how mission-critical software solutions are developed and deployed using optimized and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Design, build and support infrastructure and security technologies within the cloud to offer resiliency, observability and cost optimization.
• Communicate proactively with various audiences; share experience to help others grow.
• Participate in planning work and identify areas of improvement.
• Perform technology evaluation and selection.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for maintenance of cloud solutions.
