Job summary

SailPoint is a US-based remote role seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver high-performance Golang services in a cloud-native, FedRAMP-compliant AWS environment. You’ll work on API design, data structures across Snowflake, DynamoDB, and Cassandra, and apply SRE practices to ensure reliability.

You will mentor a small pod, participate in code reviews, and help push the SDLC forward while maintaining security and observability standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent professional experience.
US Citizenship required for FedRAMP compliance.
7+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong proficiency in Golang for backend development.
Extensive microservices and distributed systems experience with clean API design.
Experience with Snowflake, DynamoDB, and Cassandra.
Knowledge of SRE principles, telemetry/observability, and SLO management.
Excellent communication skills and OO programming background.
Experience with Java frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design low-to-medium complexity features in Golang and deploy secure cloud resources.
Collaborate on clean API designs and optimize data structures across Snowflake, DynamoDB, and Cassandra.
Mentor a small pod of engineers and participate in code reviews and SDLC improvements.
Join on-call rotations and triage production incidents using telemetry and observability tools.
Deliver high-quality software in a FedRAMP-regulated AWS environment.
