Job summary

SailPoint is hiring a Staff DevSecOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure and Platform Services team. You will secure the Identity Security Cloud platform, implement FIM, collect audit evidence, and harden base images while ensuring global service availability.

You will work with Engineering, Product, and Services in a remote role, contributing to security improvements and operating in an on-call rotation. U.S. citizenship is required due to FedRAMP requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in 24x7 production operations for a SaaS or cloud service
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS/WAF
• Experience securing containerized applications and images
• Experience with file integrity monitoring (FIM)
• Release automation (Jenkins) and system administration
• Scripting (Ruby, Python) and IaC (Terraform)
• Strong networking and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to operate in an agile/start-up environment
• Strong teamwork and influencing engineers

Responsibilities

• Implement file integrity monitoring and audit evidence collection
• Hardening base images used across the company
• Operate and secure the SaaS infrastructure in AWS
• Be part of the on-call rotation to support the product
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams
• Drive security improvements and ensure compliance with standards
