Job summary

SailPoint is seeking a Staff DevSecOps Engineer to join the Infrastructure and Platform Services team. You will implement and operate our global SaaS infrastructure, focusing on security, automation, and availability for our Identity Security Cloud platform.

The role requires being on-call and is remote within the United States. You will work with cross-functional teams to harden images, automate audit evidence collection, and improve security across deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience in 24x7 production operations for SaaS or cloud services.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure environments (AWS or Azure).
• Experience with SIRP, SIEM, and IDS/IPS/WAF solutions.
• Experience securing containerized applications and images.
• Experience with file integrity monitoring (FIM).
• Release automation (Jenkins), system administration, configuration, and debugging.
• Scripting (Ruby, Python) and configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet); IaC (Terraform).
• Strong networking and system troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent collaboration and ability to influence engineers without direct reports.
• Ability to operate in an agile, entrepreneurial start-up environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement file integrity monitoring (FIM) and automate audit evidence collection.
• Harden base images used across the organization and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Support 24x7 production operations for the SaaS platform and manage on-call incidents.
• Collaborate with engineering to securely bring new features into production and meet security SLAs.
