Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Manager of Data Engineering to lead strategy, architecture, and execution of the data platform. You will manage a high-performing team delivering scalable data pipelines, governance, and insights that fuel analytics, product innovation, and ML initiatives.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics and Finance to prioritize high-impact data initiatives, establish standards, and scale the platform for growth in a regulated healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; 10+ years in data engineering or related roles.
• Experience architecting, operating, and scaling modern cloud-based data platforms with ingestion/orchestration.
• Strong SQL and programming skills (Python/Scala) with cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience in regulated healthcare/data privacy and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, architecture, and execution of Alto’s data platform to enable analytics, product innovation, and ML.
• Build and mentor a high-performing data engineering team with a culture of ownership and excellence.
• Define long-term vision for the data platform and align with product roadmaps.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Finance and Enterprise teams.
• Establish career paths, performance standards, and hiring plans to scale the team.
• Ensure reliable, scalable data pipelines with governance, security, and observability.
