Fuze Health Inc. seeks a Senior Manager of Data Engineering to lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of Alto’s data platform, ensuring high-quality, trusted data across analytics, operations, product, and ML initiatives.

You will manage a high-performing team responsible for data pipelines, the modern data stack, and data-driven decision making in a regulated healthcare environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Proven experience architecting, operating, and scaling modern cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong data modeling principles, ELT architectures, and production-grade pipeline orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proven track record owning platform reliability, SLAs, observability, and incident response in production data systems.
• Experience building data platforms in regulated industries such as healthcare, pharmacy, or fintech.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare data privacy standards.
• Experience supporting ML pipelines or feature stores; exposure to experimentation platforms and product analytics.
• Strong SQL and programming proficiency (Python, Scala, or similar).
• Experience implementing data contracts and data product frameworks across domain teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of Alto’s data platform to fuel analytics, product innovation, and ML workflows.
• Manage and grow a high-performing Data Engineering team.
• Define the long-term vision for the data platform and align with product roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Finance, and Enterprise teams to deliver high-impact data initiatives.
• Establish career paths, performance standards, hiring plans, and governance.
• Build scalable data pipelines and ensure data quality, reliability, and security across the stack.
