Job summary

Fuze Health Inc. seeks a Senior Manager of Data Engineering to lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of a modern data platform powering analytics, operations, product innovation, and ML initiatives.

You will manage and grow a high-performing Data Engineering team, shaping data governance, reliability, and scalable data solutions across the organization. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Finance, and Enterprise teams to prioritize high-impact data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; 10+ years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or related data infrastructure roles.
• Proven experience architecting, operating, and scaling modern cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong expertise in data modeling, ELT architectures, and production-grade orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proven track record owning platform reliability, SLAs, observability, and data quality frameworks.
• Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, fintech, or regulated industries; HIPAA familiarity.
• Experience supporting ML pipelines, feature engineering, or feature stores.
• Strong SQL and programming proficiency (Python/Scala).
• Experience implementing data contracts and data product frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of Alto’s data platform.
• Manage a high-performing team of Data Engineers and establish data engineering best practices.
• Define long-term vision for the data platform aligned with product roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and Finance teams to deliver data initiatives.
• Scale platform to support real-time analytics and expanding regulatory complexity.
