Job summary

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking an experienced pre-sales engineer to join a new enterprise browser/SASE platform-focused team in the United States.

You will collaborate with sales partners to position advanced security solutions and support customers from initial engagement to post-sale adoption. You will train and support the sales force, develop trusted advisor relationships, and provide feedback to product management based on customer interactions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering within Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security or SSE/SASE.
• Experience with L2-L4 Networking (L2 Switching, VLANs, IP routing, OSPF/BGP, load balancing).
• Outstanding customer communication and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of NGFW, Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, Proxy, DLP and BYOD Solutions.
• Travel up to 50% may be required to support in-person meetings.

Responsibilities

• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers working with Sales Specialists and local partners.
• Identify and document specific problems with prospective and current customers which can be solved through the deployment of integrated solutions.
• Architect and propose validated solutions which address the identified problems in each environment.
• Delivering presentations/demonstrations to prospective and current clients, PoC, RFP/RFI responses.
• Ensure ongoing customer happiness, support, and adoption.
• Continuous self-improvement and learning to maintain technical leadership of applicable technologies.
• Understand and effectively differentiate against our top competitors.
• Act as the customer advocate for any issues that require technical assistance and follow up with the customer until the issue is resolved.
