Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a seasoned pre-sales engineer to join its Enterprise Browser and SASE security platform team. You will partner with sales to engage customers, demonstrate solutions, and drive PoCs that address complex cyber threats across hybrid environments.

You will collaborate with systems engineers to translate technical needs into validated security architectures, deliver impactful demonstrations, and support product feedback to shape future features.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering.
• Experience with L2-L4 Networking (L2 Switching, IP routing, OSPF/BGP).
• Outstanding customer communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with customers and a can-do attitude.
• Solid understanding of NGFW, Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, Proxy, DLP, BYOD.
• Advanced knowledge of on-premise and cloud-delivered network security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers with Sales Specialists and partners.
• Identify and document problems with prospects and customers solvable by integrated solutions.
• Architect and propose validated solutions addressing identified problems in each environment.
• Deliver presentations and PoC, RFP/RFI responses to clients.
• Ensure ongoing customer happiness, support, and adoption.
• Pursue continuous self-improvement to maintain technical leadership in relevant technologies (data center, SDN, cloud, security, networking).
• Differentiate against top competitors effectively.
• Advocate for customers and coordinate with teams to resolve issues.
