Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking an experienced pre-sales engineer to join our enterprise browser and SASE security platform team. You will collaborate with Sales Specialists and partners to demonstrate value, architect solutions, and guide customers through PoC and RFP processes.

Qualifications

6+ years of pre-sales/sales engineering experience in Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security or SSE/SASE.
Strong L2-L4 networking knowledge including switching, routing (OSPF/BGP) and load-balancing.
Excellent customer communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with customers, solving problems and maintaining a can-do attitude.
Experience in field sales/pre-sales with travel up to 50% to support in-person customer meetings.

Responsibilities

Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers in collaboration with Sales Specialists and local partners.
Identify and document customer problems solvable with integrated solutions.
Architect and propose validated solutions tailored to each environment.
Deliver presentations and PoCs to prospects and customers, respond to RFPs/RFIs.
Ensure customer happiness, adoption, and ongoing support.
Maintain technical leadership across data center, SDN, public cloud, security, and networking.
