Jobgether is seeking a Credit Analyst III, Specialty Lending, based in the United States. The role involves underwriting complex lending transactions across specialty sectors, including asset-based or non-traditional structures.

This remote opportunity targets analytical, detail-oriented professionals who can assess unconventional collateral and repayment sources. You will prepare comprehensive risk assessments for credit approvals, mentor junior analysts, and collaborate with credit leadership.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive credit analysis experience, with exposure to specialty, structured, asset-based, or non-traditional lending strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in commercial financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, credit structuring, and evaluating unconventional repayment sources and collateral.
• Asset-Based Lending: familiarity with receivables financing concepts and collateral concerns.
• Litigation finance fundamentals, including case merits and settlement/timeline considerations.
• Structured and leveraged finance: knowledge of loan-to-value/cost, sponsor-backed transactions, and exit strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for presenting analyses to loan committees and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite complex lending transactions across specialty sectors.
• Assess non-traditional collateral and repayment structures.
• Build and monitor borrowing base calculations and collateral eligibility in ABL.
• Evaluate litigation finance risks and timelines.
• Assess sponsor experience and feasibility of exit strategies in leveraged lending.
• Prepare detailed credit presentations and risk assessments for leadership and loan committees.
• Analyze multi-entity borrowers and SPVs in syndicated lending.
• Mentor junior credit analysts and share underwriting methodologies.
• Monitor industry, legal, and regulatory developments affecting specialty lending.
