Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Configuration Analyst - II to remotely support VA applications and lead sophisticated CM and release tasks. The role emphasizes building, automating, and standardizing software configuration management across projects.

You will collaborate with internal/external stakeholders, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliant build and deployment processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven CM lead with experience in software configuration management and release engineering.
• Experience in regulated or federal environments is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CM practices (identification, baselining, change control, status accounting).

Responsibilities

• Support VA applications and drive migration to the cloud.
• Develop and maintain CM tools for identification, control, reporting, and delivery of software and COTS products.
• Perform CM and release engineering to document parameters and ensure compliant, repeatable builds.
• Design and automate productivity tools to improve software modeling and development.
• Develop build procedures to support product development and deployment.
• Train developers in CM tools and quality practices.
