Syms Strategic Group, LLC seeks a Senior Configuration Analyst - II to lead software configuration management, release engineering, and automation efforts in a remote, U.S.-based role supporting VA applications. You will drive CM tools, build processes, and compliance across multiple environments.

The ideal candidate has deep CM expertise, experience in regulated environments, and strong collaboration skills to mentor junior teammates while delivering reliable, scalable software configurations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
10+ years of relevant experience preferred.
Experience in regulated or federal environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support VA applications and migrate to the cloud.
Develop and maintain CM tools for identification, control, reporting, and delivery of software.
Perform CM and release engineering tasks to ensure compliant builds.
Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools for software modeling.
Create and implement build procedures to support product development.
Develop company-wide software configuration standards.
Train developers in CM tools and quality standards.
Provide technical guidance and solutions to complex problems.
Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor junior analysts.
