Job summary

Velera seeks a Senior Compensation Analyst to lead administration of merit, incentive, and performance management programs. You will own Workday configuration, testing, reporting, governance and stakeholder support across HR and payroll teams.

You will drive annual compensation cycles, partner with executives, and back up executive compensation processes. This role blends analytics with program leadership in a remote-first, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, finance or related field (or equivalent).
• 7+ years in compensation with program administration, pricing, consulting.
• 3+ years in senior compensation role.
• 2+ years in executive compensation preferred.
• Experience leading annual compensation planning (merit, bonus, performance) and related projects.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and HR stakeholders on complex compensation matters.
• Workday experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee annual merit planning: setup, testing, reporting, governance.
• Oversee annual incentive and bonus planning: data validation, payout calculations and reporting.
• Oversee annual performance management cycle: goal setting, reviews, calibration, system administration.
• Serve as primary admin for Workday compensation and performance management.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables for compensation programs.
• Create program docs, job aids, training materials and leadership communications.
• Produce standard and ad hoc reports, dashboards and analyses for decision making.
• Partner with HRBPs, Payroll, TA and leaders to troubleshoot and ensure delivery.
