Job summary

Hyland is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to shape and optimize our compensation programs across the organization. You will work with a global team to analyze market data, manage salary planning, and drive insights using Power BI and Workday reporting.

The role emphasizes base pay and variable compensation design, policy governance, and cross-functional collaboration with HR partners and business leaders. A strong data-driven mindset and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Compensation Analyst or Compensation Specialist.
• Strong experience with Workday Compensation Module (required).
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
• Experience working with market survey data.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong collaboration skills and comfort working with cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.
• Demonstrated ability to develop clear, compelling presentations and materials.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end job description and job mapping process for new and existing roles in Workday.
• Develop and deliver training materials for HR Business Partners and managers on compensation topics.
• Administer annual salary planning including budgets, increases, and equity analyses.
• Provide recommendations to HR Partners, Recruiting and leaders based on market data.
• Manage the market data process, including Mercer data collection and analysis.
• Research federal, state, and local compliance issues (e.g., wage and hour laws; IRS regulations).
• Leverage Power BI, Excel, and Workday reporting to deliver actionable insights.
• Contribute to design, maintenance, and improvement of base pay and variable compensation programs.
• Partner with Executives and HR Partners to align programs with business goals.
• Develop enablement sessions for HR Partners and managers on compensation topics.
