Job summary

SOLV Energy, a leader in infrastructure services for the power industry, seeks a Senior Commissioning Project Manager to oversee integrated commissioning across a portfolio of utility-scale projects. The role drives strategy from planning through energization, testing, and turnover while coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners.

Travel within the Midwest is required while the role remains remote.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in commissioning, startup, testing, construction, or project delivery for utility-scale electrical facilities.
• Minimum 5 years leading complex commissioning or project-delivery activities across multiple scopes or a portfolio.
• Strong ability to interpret EPC contracts, scopes of work, and interconnection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own integrated commissioning delivery across typically 4-5 concurrent EPC projects.
• Establish commissioning strategy, governance cadence, readiness gates, and milestone plan for each project.
• Translate contracts and technical requirements into an integrated commissioning scope and execution plan.
• Exercise independent judgment on complex commissioning delivery matters and escalate risks as needed.
• Maintain portfolio-level visibility of status, risks, resources, costs, and milestones.
