Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager to lead the Commissioning Project Management function across a nationwide portfolio of solar, storage, and HV projects. The role emphasizes ownership of schedules, milestones, and cross-functional coordination.

The successful candidate will manage a multi-project CPM team, partner with field leaders, and drive consistent processes, readiness, and reporting while maintaining safety and quality across engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in EPC commissioning, project management, or delivery of utility-scale projects.
• Experience leading multi-project or portfolio-level workloads.
• Ability to translate contractual requirements into commissioning deliverables and schedules.
• Strong knowledge of solar, energy storage, and HV commissioning interfaces.
• Proven ability to train, mentor, and develop PM personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sr. Commissioning Project Management team with direction and mentorship.
• Establish team goals, workload priorities, and accountability aligned with objectives.
• Hire, onboard, develop, and mentor employees; support succession planning.
• Drive safety, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the portfolio.
• Standardize the Sr. CPM operating model across regions and project types.
• Maintain portfolio visibility of schedules, milestones, risks, and performance.
• Ensure Sr. CPMs own commissioning scope, schedules, and handoffs.
• Coordinate readiness reviews, dashboards, and reporting; manage issues and turnovers.
