Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Commissioning Project Manager to lead integrated commissioning across a portfolio of utility-scale projects. The role balances planning, energization, testing, and turnover while coordinating scope-specific teams and maintaining safety and contractual compliance.

This remote role requires Midwest travel; you will report to project leadership and drive portfolio-level visibility on schedule, cost, and risks, ensuring a safe, commercially successful outcome.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in commissioning, startup, testing, construction, operations, engineering, or project delivery for utility-scale electrical facilities.
• Minimum 5 years leading complex commissioning or project-delivery activities across multiple concurrent projects.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related discipline; PMP/CM or other credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own integrated commissioning delivery across typically 4-5 concurrent EPC projects with multiple scopes.
• Establish the commissioning strategy, governance cadence, and readiness gates for each project.
• Translate contracts, interconnection obligations, and requirements into an integrated commissioning plan.
• Lead cross-scope coordination meetings and manage risk, cost, schedule, and resources.
• Ensure safety and compliance, and deliver turnover to operations with complete documentation.
