Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Commissioning Project Manager to lead integrated commissioning across a portfolio of utility-scale EPC projects, including PV, HV, BESS, SCADA, and related infrastructure. The role runs from planning through energization and turnover.

The position is remote with travel in the Midwest; you will coordinate cross-functional teams, own portfolio milestones, and ensure safety, contract compliance, and commercial success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in commissioning, startup, testing, construction, operations, engineering, or project delivery for utility-scale electrical facilities.
• Minimum 5 years leading complex commissioning or project-delivery activities across multiple concurrent projects.
• Demonstrated accountability for integrated scope, schedule, resources, risk, stakeholders, and delivery commitments.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence outcomes across org boundaries.
• Strong business judgment, planning, and executive stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own integrated commissioning delivery across typically 4-5 concurrent EPC projects with multiple scopes.
• Establish commissioning strategy, execution model, governance cadence, and milestone plan.
• Translate contracts, requirements, and standards into an integrated commissioning plan.
• Exercise independent judgment on complex delivery matters and escalate risks.
• Maintain portfolio-level visibility of status, risks, and forecast dates for leadership.
• Lead cross-scope readiness reviews and coordinate with field teams, OEMs, and partners.
