Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager to lead the Commissioning Project Management function and provide portfolio-level oversight for testing and commissioning across SOLV projects. This fully remote role requires coordinating with HV, BESS/PV leadership and field teams to ensure safe, on-time project delivery and milestone attainment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in EPC commissioning, project management, construction management, or delivery of utility-scale electrical or renewable-energy projects.
• Experience leading multi-project or portfolio-level workload.
• Experience integrating commissioning activities into project schedules, milestones, budgets, and cross-functional delivery plans.
• Strong understanding of utility-scale solar, battery energy storage, and high-voltage commissioning interfaces.
• Ability to identify and elevate project risks and drive cross-functional resolution.
• Experience training, mentoring, and developing project-management personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sr. Commissioning Project Management team with direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Establish team goals, workload priorities, and accountability aligned with objectives.
• Hire, onboard, develop, and mentor employees while supporting succession planning.
• Foster a safety-focused culture and continuous improvement across projects.
• Standardize the Sr. CPM operating model across regions and project types.
• Maintain portfolio-level visibility of commissioning schedules, milestones, readiness, risks, and performance.
• Ensure unified ownership and integrated commissioning plans for all projects.
