Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager to lead the Commissioning Project Management function and oversee portfolio delivery across solar, storage, and HV projects. This fully remote role coordinates with HV, BESS/PV leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure readiness and successful project closeout.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in EPC commissioning or project management of utility-scale electrical projects, with PMP or related certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of the utility-scale commissioning lifecycle from planning through energization and closeout.
• Strong portfolio and multi-project management capability with escalation.
• Knowledge of commissioning plans, integrated schedules, readiness gates, and turnover requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sr. Commissioning Project Management team with coaching and performance feedback.
• Establish team goals, workload priorities, and accountability across regions.
• Oversee portfolio-level visibility of commissioning schedules, milestones, and risks.
• Ensure Sr. CPMs own the overall commissioning scope and coordination cadence.
• Standardize project-management processes, tools, and reporting across the portfolio.
