Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager to lead the Commissioning Project Management function and oversee portfolio delivery across testing and commissioning for utility-scale solar, battery storage, and HV substations. This fully remote role reports to senior leadership and will coordinate with HV and BESS/PV teams to integrate technical scope into the overall project plan.

Advanced understanding of the utility-scale commissioning lifecycle from planning through energization and turnover.
Strong portfolio and multi-project management capability with escalation.
Experience integrating commissioning activities into schedules, milestones, budgets, and cross-functional plans.

Responsibilities

Lead the Sr. Commissioning Project Management team with clear direction and mentorship.
Establish goals, workload priorities, and accountability across regions and project types.
Hire, onboard, develop, and mentor employees while supporting succession planning.
Build a culture of safety, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Standardize the Sr. CPM operating model across the portfolio.
Maintain portfolio-level visibility of schedules, milestones, readiness, risks, and resources.
Ensure each project has integrated commissioning plan, ownership, and cadence.
