Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager to lead the Commissioning Project Management function and provide portfolio-wide oversight of testing and commissioning across solar, storage, and HV projects. This role is fully remote with location details discussed in interviews.

This position requires strong leadership, multi-project scheduling, and executive communication to ensure on-time delivery, safety, and customer commitments while coordinating with HV and BESS/PV field teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in EPC commissioning or project management for utility-scale electrical/renewable projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sr. CPM team with clear direction, coaching, and performance support.
• Establish goals, priorities, and accountability aligned with company objectives.
• Hire, onboard, mentor, and develop staff while supporting succession planning.
• Build a safety-first culture and drive continuous improvement across projects.
• Standardize the Sr. CPM operating model across regions and project types.
• Maintain portfolio visibility of commissioning schedules, readiness, risks, and performance.
• Ensure each project has clear Sr. CPM ownership and integrated commissioning plans.
• Manage escalation and resolution of issues affecting energization, milestones, and customer commitments.
• Oversee cross-functional engagement with Project Management, Operations, Preconstruction, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Field Testing, Safety, Quality, SCADA, OT Infrastructure.
