Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Commissioning Manager, Preconstruction, to lead Testing & Commissioning for PV, BESS, and HV from BD through LNTP. You will own estimates, schedules, and contractual exhibits, coordinating with Preconstruction, Engineering, and Contracts to deliver an aligned commissioning package.

The role allows full remote or hybrid work with in-office presence in San Diego, CA. You will collaborate across teams to define scope, manage risks, and ensure successful project

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive commissioning experience on utility-scale projects.
• Experience reviewing EPC contracts, commissioning exhibits, specifications, and acceptance requirements.
• Proven experience developing commissioning estimates, schedules, and plans.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Own the commissioning workstream during BD and through contract execution.
• Coordinate inputs from SCADA, PV, BESS, HV, and related teams into project plans.
• Lead development and presentation of SOLV’s commissioning requirements to clients.
• Maintain commissioning plans, estimates, and schedules aligned with contract obligations.
• Ensure effective client communication on scope, risks, and commitments.
