Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Coding Educator to identify opportunities to improve provider documentation and to tailor an education plan for each provider. The role reports to the Manager, Coding Education and focuses on reducing risk adjustment gaps through targeted provider education.

The position supports remote work with occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings. Hours are CST or EST, with a 40-hour workweek and a base pay range of $71,100–$97,800 per year, plus bonus

Qualifications

• CPC certification required.
• 3+ years risk adjustment provider education.
• 3+ years medical record review knowledge.
• Medicare risk adjustment knowledge.
• Familiar with ICD-9/ICD-10 guidelines.
• Experience analyzing data to drive process improvements.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Proficient in PowerPoint with leadership-level presentations.

Responsabilités

• Create and execute the risk adjustment strategy for each provider group.
• Analyze data and provide educational sessions with providers focusing on quality of care, documentation, and coding improvements.
• Collaborate with relationship owners and Quality and Cost Strategy (QCS).
• Monitor and develop strategy with Network Performance team and the leader.
• Tailor provider group webinars and discussions based on various MRA topics.
• Create compliant PowerPoint presentations tailored to group strategy.
