Job summary

The candidate will define and resolve complex technical issues across Akamai products and infrastructure, collaborating with customer teams and engineering to drive improvements. Responsibilities include developing best practices, creating knowledge base articles, and prioritizing customer feedback into engineering requirements for future enhancements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking, Telecommunication Networks, or Telecommunications.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in same fields plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or related engineering role.
• Experience with network security & management, and internet protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) is required.

Responsibilities

• Define and resolve complex technical issues related to Akamai products and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with customer technical teams on pre- and post-sales issues and root-cause analysis.
• Develop knowledge base articles and best practices for service delivery.
• Act as SME for multiple products and coordinate with engineering and product management.
