Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in CS, Software Engineering, IT, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking, Telecommunication Networks, or Telecommunications.
• Experience with network security, protocols for switching and routing including gateway protocols and MPLS; TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP; broadband networks, SMDS; network management for mesh, bus, star networks; event simulation and queueing using Wireshark, NetFlow, and Tcpdump; and wireless networking.
• Alternative: Bachelor’s degree plus five years in related role.

Responsibilities

• Define and resolve complex technical issues related to Akamai products and infrastructure.
