Job summary

Syms Strategic Group is seeking a Senior Business Process Analyst to support the Veterans Affairs program. This remote, full-time role focuses on process improvement, organizational redesign, and performance measurement across large projects.

You will lead requirements elicitation, create BPMN/UML models, and guide Agile/SAFe practices to deliver value. A strong track record in complex projects and regulation compliance is required; U.S. citizenship and public trust clearance are noted.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects
• Expertise in eliciting and documenting business requirements, business processes, and workflows
• Proficiency in creating functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams
• Experience with business modeling techniques and tools (UML, BPMN)
• Proficiency in Visio, Lucidchart, or similar
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Proficiency in JIRA and MS Project
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to translate technical information into business language for non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous process improvement and organizational redesign projects
• Define and develop business processes, roles and responsibilities, and performance metrics
• Analyze current state, gaps, benchmarks, best practices
• Plan future state design and change management
• Coordinate with customer, IT, and client services
• Ensure compliance and quality programs
• Guide Agile and SAFe implementations across large programs
• Interact with operating entities to enforce requirements
• Deliver presentations and training on measurement and analysis
