Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) seeks a Senior Business Process Analyst to lead advanced process-improvement initiatives within the Veterans Affairs portfolio. The role emphasizes agile and SAFe, collaboration across multiple teams, and delivering business value in large programs. Remote work is offered for U.S.

citizens. The ideal candidate has 20+ years of experience in business analysis, with expertise in UML/BPMN, SQL, Power BI and Tableau, plus strong communication and facilitation skills.

Qualifications

Proven track record leading complex projects.
Eliciting and documenting business requirements and workflows.
Creating functional specs, user stories, use cases and process flows.
Modeling with UML and BPMN.
Proficiency with Visio, Lucidchart or similar.

Responsibilities

Lead process-improvement initiatives and organizational redesign.
Define business processes, policies, roles and performance metrics.
Conduct current state and gap analyses; benchmark against best practices.
