Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Business Process Analyst to lead process improvement initiatives for a federal VA program in a fully remote role. You will define and map business processes, establish metrics, and guide organizational redesign efforts to improve performance and compliance.

The role requires deep experience with Agile/SAFe, stakeholder collaboration, and strong data analysis skills. A U.S.

Qualifications

Experience leading and delivering complex projects.
Proficiency in documenting business requirements, processes, and workflows.
Proficiency in creating functional specs, user stories, use cases, and process diagrams.
Experience with UML and BPMN for business modelling.
Proficiency with Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools.
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Proficiency with JIRA and MS Project for project tracking.
Understanding of database concepts and basic querying.

Responsibilities

Lead and implement continuous process improvements and organizational redesigns.
Define processes, policies, roles, and performance metrics.
Conduct current state, gap, benchmarking, and organizational assessments.
Plan and execute future state designs and change management.
Coordinate with customer, IT, and service teams to align requirements.
Provide oversight of quality programs, compliance, and performance.
