Job summary

Lob, a leader in direct mail technology, seeks a Business Operations Manager to own cross‑functional programs across Finance, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Go‑to‑Market, ensuring timely delivery and clear accountability. You will move ambiguous problems to documented processes, coordinate teams that don’t report to you, and deliver executive updates.

Qualifications

• 4-7+ years post-undergrad in management consulting/corporate strategy or business operations.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Background in B2B SaaS, marketplace, logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own Program Execution: Run three to five concurrent cross-functional programs with defined end state, status, owners, and due dates.
• Drive Outcomes Across Teams: Push programs to completion across Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, Partner Ops, Solutions, and Go-to-Market.
• Diagnose & redesign workflows: identify operational workflows across teams, quantify current costs, and implement consolidated or automated replacements.
• Deliver the Analysis: produce analysis behind program decisions using Lob's data and AI tooling.
• Hand Off What You Build: document each program on completion and transition to a permanent owner with a lasting metric.
• Communicate to Leadership: prepare and deliver program reviews and recommendations to the leadership team.
• Cover the Gaps: provide FP&A, Deal Desk, and LO analytics backup and support quarterly business rhythms.
