Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Sr. Developer, Business Intelligence to join our team in a high-growth environment. The role blends theory and practice to deliver data-driven insights for managers, stakeholders, and executives within a state Medicaid program.

You will work with BI tools like Tableau, QlikView/QlikSense, SAS, and Power BI, build data models, ensure data integrity, and mentor teammates while collaborating with state auditors and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business, computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics or equivalent.
• 5+ years of analytics, data modeling, or BI experience; master's degree reduces required experience.

Responsibilities

• Use Qlikview, QlikSense, SQL Server Management Studio, Oracle SQL Developer and other product tools to create applications and data models for reporting needs
• Identify inter-departmental dependencies and downstream impacts of changes within reporting applications
• Extract, Transform and Load data from various data sources
• Adapt quickly to changing reporting requirements and new BI tools in a rapidly evolving, high-growth organization
• Take charge of ongoing data validation to ensure data integrity and reliability
• Identify and provide insights into streamlining analytics processes and research improvement opportunities
• Serve as analytics point of contact for state audits, legislative inquiries, and escalated analysis matters
• Lead and facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders or state stakeholders
• Serve as a mentor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to teammates and business areas
• Other duties as assigned

Education

BA/BS with focus on business, computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics or equivalent combined education and experience preferred
