Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Senior Developer, Business Intelligence to join our data team in a remote capacity. You will combine theory and practice to identify data-driven insights for managers, stakeholders, and executives to guide health program decisions.

You will work with BI tools like QlikView/QlikSense, Tableau, SAS, and SQL environments, build data models, ensure data integrity, and mentor teammates in analytics best practices within a fast-growth state Medicaid context.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or higher in analytics, CS, IS, mathematics or equivalent.
• 5+ years of analytics/BI experience preferred; 3+ with MS.
• Experience with BI tools: Tableau, QlikView/QlikSense, SAS, Power BI.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python or R for data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Create applications and data models for reporting needs using BI tools.
• Identify dependencies and downstream impacts in reporting apps.
• Extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Adapt to changing reporting requirements and new BI tools.
• Lead data validation to ensure integrity and reliability.
• Provide insights to streamline analytics processes.
• Serve as analytics point of contact for audits and inquiries.
• Lead meetings with stakeholders and state partners.
• Mentor teammates as SME on analytics.
