Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Senior Developer, Business Intelligence to translate data into actionable insights. The role combines theory and practice to support executives including state Medicaid by delivering robust data models and reporting solutions.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and a strong communicator with experience in analytics, data modeling, or business intelligence, ready to adapt in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business, CS, information systems, math or stats is preferred.
• At least five years in analytics, data modeling, or BI; masters reduces experience need.
• Experience with BI tools and data visualization is required.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python or R is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create data models and reporting apps using BI tools.
• Identify dependencies and downstream impacts in reporting.
• ETL data from multiple sources (ETL/ELT).
• Adapt to evolving BI tools and reporting needs.
• Validate data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Provide insights to streamline analytics processes.
• Serve as analytics SME for audits and inquiries.
• Lead meetings with stakeholders and state teams.
• Mentor teammates and other business areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
