Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Sr. Developer, Business Intelligence to join our growing team in Richmond, VA. This expert role blends theory and practice to deliver data-driven insights that help managers and executives make informed decisions across the Medicaid program.

You will work with BI tools like Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS and Power BI, model data, validate data, and mentor teammates. Strong communication, rapid learning, and a collaborative mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with focus on business, CS, IS, math, stats or equivalent
• 5+ years analytics/BI experience or 3+ years with master’s degree
• Experience with BI tools Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS, Power BI; SQL/Python/R preferred
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with others

Responsibilities

• Use BI tools to create reporting data models
• Identify dependencies and downstream impacts in reporting apps
• Extract/Transform/Load data from diverse sources
• Adapt to changing reporting requirements and new BI tools
• Lead data validation to ensure integrity
• Provide insights to streamline analytics processes
• Serve as analytics SME for audits and inquiries
• Lead meetings with stakeholders and state personnel
• Mentor teammates and SME for the team
