Qualifications

4+ years as a software engineer with backend system experience.
Experience designing and shipping backend systems at scale.
Strong familiarity with Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes.
Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue.
Experience with AI/LLMs to improve automation and guidance.

Responsibilities

Own and deliver quarterly team goals, guiding engineers through ambiguity.
Collaborate with product, design and analytics on requirements and constraints.
Identify and escalate issues; lead efforts to resolve them.
Support operations and on-call efforts; monitor metrics and reliability.
Advise on code quality and design standards; mentor teammates.
