Novogradac is seeking a Principal to oversee audit engagements and provide technical review with minimal supervision. You will mentor staff, supervise engagement teams, and help deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes strong technical auditing skills, effective communication with Partners and clients, and a commitment to professional development and firm standards. Domestic travel may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of public accounting audit experience.
• CPA license required; experience reviewing complex audits is preferred.
• Strong technical audit and accounting knowledge; ability to research and document matters.

Aufgaben

• Oversee assigned audit engagements and technical reviews; plan, staff, time, and ensure timely completion with Partner coordination.
• Conduct thorough technical engagement reviews of financial statements and audit workpapers.
• Mentor and supervise staff, guiding technical areas and professional development.
• Identify high value-added opportunities for existing Firm clients through technical knowledge.
• Maintain relationships with clients through professionalism, responsiveness and technical competence.
