Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Principal to oversee audit engagements and technical reviews under the Partner group. You will supervise, mentor staff, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality work across complex project- and fund-level audits.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in public accounting audits, a CPA license, and deep knowledge of auditing standards; willingness to travel domestically is required. Remote/hybrid options may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA license required.
• Minimum 15 years of public accounting audit experience.
• Experience reviewing complex project- or fund-level audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee audit engagements and technical reviews with minimal supervision.
• Plan, staff, and manage timing, issues, and documentation quality with Partners.
• Conduct technical engagement reviews of financial statements and audit workpapers.
• Supervise and mentor staff; develop talent and maintain team atmosphere.
• Identify high value opportunities and support client services.
• Support internal training, client trainings, and publications.
• Maintain client relationships with professionalism and responsiveness.
• Improve skills through training and industry focus areas.
• Travel domestically as needed; meet internal deadlines.
