Novogradac is seeking a Principal to oversee audit and related assignments with minimal supervision, focusing on technical review, engagement supervision, and delivering high-quality work.

You will mentor staff, supervise engagements, and identify value-added opportunities while supporting the firm’s reputation through training and client interactions. Domestic travel may be required. CPA license and 15+ years of public accounting experience preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA license required; 15+ years of public accounting audit experience.
• Advanced technical understanding of auditing and accounting standards for complex engagements; ability to research, resolve, and document matters.
• Strong communication of complex audit, accounting, and review matters to Partners, staff and clients.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee audit engagements and technical review with minimal supervision, coordinating with Partner group.
• Conduct technical engagement reviews of financial statements, workpapers, and audit areas; document conclusions.
• Supervise and mentor staff, identify development opportunities, and maintain a respectful team atmosphere.
• Identify high value-added opportunities for existing Firm clients using technical knowledge.
• Participate in internal training, client trainings, technical discussions, and publications to support the Firm’s reputation.
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships through professionalism and service orientation.
• Pursue training to enhance industry-specific technical expertise and strengthen firm focus areas.
• Manage time efficiently, supervise staff, resolve review matters timely, and support high-quality delivery.
